A fantastic beginning to a much needed break...

Have I ever told you how tired I always am? I swear that I'm constantly tired, but I guess that is my fault. I sleep too late and wake up too early for my own good... There is just too much to do but not enough hours in the day to do them all. If only... Anyway, I'll stop ranting about sleep it's not very interesting and making me kinda tired.

What else is better than beginning the September school holidays with Animania?

I had spent the last couple of weeks attempting to fix up my costume after I found the faults when I wore it the first time. Unfortunately, I had to study for various exams at the same time and, of course, studying took priority. By Wednesday, all my exams were over but there were still a few things that I needed to do on my costume. At the time I didn't think that it was very much but I ended up staying up on Thursday until 1:00am the following morning and it still wasn't done... So to ensure that it was done, I ended up staying up Friday night as well and I think it was midnight by the time I went to sleep. To make matters worst, I work up again at 6:00am and I was extremely tired...

Not such a great start to the day was it? But things got better...

In a previous journal, I listed those that would be coming with me, but unfortunately there was no Chihiro or Kisuke Urahara. So, it was myself as Shippuden Tenten, ~pancakeface14 as Agito/Akito and Karin as No Face. We arrived at 9:30 or maybe a little later and the line was absolutely massive! Luckily, I'd pre-registered and we were able to head up. The lift we took up was absolutely packed and then when we got on the right floor that was just as bad.

The first few minutes were spent putting Karin's costume together, which worked out surprisingly well. Then we kinda just walked around the stores and waved at the people in the line below. No Face even decided to throw down a few of her gold pieces to those waiting in line. Did anyone see them? Eventually, we walked back inside and walked around a bit before sitting in the main stage for a good two hours, maybe more.

We headed for lunch were nothing that interesting happened, except for the fact that we had to remove and then put back on Karin's costume. But for some reason it seemed to take much longer than the first time. It was quite funny though, there were so many problems and I swear that when she had the No Face costume on she was treated a royalty.

Not too much else happened after that, ~pancakeface14 drew a fantastic picture of Raven from Teen Titans but, of course, she couldn't enter to competition. We ended up leaving a bit before four, everyone was tired and just wanted to go home...

It was great meeting you all again, from those that I can remember from the top of my head ~adeleane, ~MercuryMist and ~pwentoran (who literally popped out of nowhere before disappearing just as quickly). And if I hadn't met you previously, it was nice meeting you.

Other Things
Finally, time to display a little piece of me that I have hidden from the dA world...

As the holidays have now arrived, I have some spare time to do some of the things that I love. I'll be babysitting a fair bit, so I probably won't be able to get out too much and take many photographs but there is something else that I can do. It has been such a long time since I've written something. Hopefully, I'll be able to recreate a short story that I wrote for an English assignment earlier this year.

But I'm wondering whether anyone would be interested in reading it?

If you are, then I would be glad to post it. Actually, I think if it is up to standards I will just post it anyway. But I'll just have to wait and see... I'm also planning to go through my photos to see if there is anything that I should post because there have been a few things that I may have forgotten about.

I think that's about it, this seems like a relatively lengthy journal... So, if you have read this far I thank you for taking the time out to read whatever it is that I'm rambling about.
